Liberal Realms: A Minimalist Residential Space

Creating a Comfortable and Relaxed Living Environment

In the design of Liberal Realms, the main focus is on minimalism and the absence of unnecessary decoration. The use of a white color palette serves as the foundation, allowing the materials to take center stage and creating a clean and airy atmosphere. The simplicity of the design evokes a sense of purity and naturalness, providing residents with a space that encourages relaxation and imagination.

The design of Liberal Realms is characterized by its open and interconnected layout. The public areas, such as the living room and dining room, are placed on the same axis, visually connecting the spaces and enhancing the sense of spaciousness. This layout not only promotes visual continuity but also allows for various possibilities in space utilization. Natural light plays a crucial role in the design, with large French windows bringing in ample sunlight and creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

The realization of Liberal Realms is achieved through careful attention to detail and the use of specific materials. The wooden floor seamlessly connects the living room to the private spaces, while clean white walls and minimal dark iron accents create an elegant and refined aesthetic. The use of mellow concrete as a fair-faced finish adds a touch of warmth and texture to the space. By avoiding excessive ornamentation, the design presents a sense of understated elegance.

Liberal Realms is a 90 m2 apartment that features a foyer, living room, reading room, master bedroom, parent room, bedroom, locker room, two bathrooms, dining room, kitchen, two balconies, and a storage area. The design provides ample space for residents to live and interact, while maintaining a sense of openness and fluidity.

Throughout the design process, sustainability and health were key considerations. The use of eco-friendly and recycled materials, such as wood veneer paint and Lotos plaster, ensures a low toxicity and low-risk environment. The Lotos plaster, made from reservoir sludge, not only contributes to the prevention of efflorescence and wall mold but also promotes greater air permeability and waterproofing.

Liberal Realms was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design. This recognition highlights the design's commitment to incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology, ultimately contributing to the improvement of quality of life.

With its minimalist aesthetic and focus on simplicity, Liberal Realms offers residents a space that fosters relaxation, imagination, and a sense of freedom.
